Doc Holloway discusses Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi's research on optimal
experience, or flow. If you'd like to see some discussion of it (in the
software context) by folks who experience it regularly, check out the
following links:

http://c2.com/cgi-bin/wiki?MentalStateCalledFlow
http://c2.com/cgi-bin/wiki?ExtremeFlow

Both these links are on the WikiWikiWeb, a kind of open space phenomenon
well worth studying on its own -- Rick, would it be possible, or worth it,
to set up a Wiki site as an adjunct to this mailing list? Among other
things, it would provide a convenient place for folks who want to
transcend the limits of ASCII in their discussions. Also, some
discussions might work better as Wiki pages than as email threads.

[Host's Note: Don, I'd be delighted to host a Wiki adjunct to the
learning-org site, but need someone to help with the installation details
in an SGI-unix environment. I'd welcome your help or another volunteer.
