Replying to LO22867 --

Rick, Maturana's words reminded me of another definition of love. You
paraphrased Maturana:

>"Love" is a domain in which we have more interactions with others, a
>domain which increase[s] the range of interactions that affect us, and
>creates more possibilities for our behaviors.

George Ainsworth Land (author of "Grow or Die" and other works) once told
me:

"Love is the making of ever more, and more complex, connections."

He also noted that "breaking connections is what causes us the most pain."
