Humans are indeed different in kind, besides consciousness and
self-awareness we also have freedom, and consequently the ability to
choose, which makes freedom so hard to carry. Like the ship, Love doesn't
asks why it exists, its the captain on the ship asking this question. But
when will he stop asking and reasoning? I agree that *small* understanding
of the higher things has its worth, but it seems there are a lot of people
sailing around who don't seem to know when to stop reasoning about things.
To remain in the analogy: The captain will stop reasoning from the moment
he is re-connected to the experience and feels how the waves move his ship
and him.
I think it is impossible to hug a Learning Organization and all its
concepts to death, but it certainly is possible to reason a Learning
Organization to death. We are free to choose, but we have to *feel* when
to stop reasoning.
For what it's worth,
