Malcolm, thanks for your comments. I think sometimes we need to start by
looking at the job that has to be done and expecting it will be. Systems
thinking is (or should be) an expectation. It is a way of doing business.
The fault ( if there is one) lies not so much with individual inclination
but with sytem-level expectations and supports.
