Barry,

I think I'm making an honest living. I think I'm helping organizations
transition to learning orgs so that they can continue to survive in a very
competitive industry. I think that successful adoption of KM technologies
and processes rely on changing the organization to a learning org culture.
I think that "sharing, creating, using and improving" knowledge is a
viable and critical component of organizational learning.

Of course, I'm careful to ensure my clients know that rapid results is
synonymous with qualitatively poor results. I let them know that the hard
part of adopting KM technology is changing the organization.

So...I'm not sure I understand your concerns and reservations given the
way that I work. I'm sure that you are observing or witnessing some
things that cause you alarm...perhaps you'll share those observations.
I'm sincerely interested in understanding your point of view.

regards,

Doc
