I hope Richard will pass this on, so I'll make it brief. Richard and I
disagree on what is the best practice for the list, but I also recognize
that ANY moderated list is subject to the same issues, and also recognize
Richard's right to make these decisions without receiving grief. I run a
bunch of lists (almost all moderated), and receive occasionally similar
comments, and I tend to deal with them with LESS patience than Richard.

For those that want a completely UNMODERATED forum to discuss learning in
the workplace, whether learning org. related or in any other form, I do
have an alternative called Learning At work.

You can write whatever you want there, and any control that is exerted
(and help offered) comes from open discussion (or what passes for same in
unmoderated forums).
