Replying to LO23560 --

I sense it is time for another poem...

I woke up fine this AM and I watched my P&Q's,

TGIF PM now, because I have the blues...

Cause I realize that our language is clandestinely devolving,

Into clumps of scattered letters, and this problem sure needs solving.

So I took my latin primer and began to read some notes,

On the origins of acronyms, etc., in hopes

I'd find out why it was OK for everyone I know

To use abreviated words, e.g., IMELHO*.

And I found a strange attractor in the pages of LO list,

That seemed to suck the letters out of all the words I knowest.

And as KM's (and the OM's and KP's) were in debate

Someone else was writing entropy as E+Sin of 8.

So I analyzed this mishmash bowl of alphabetic soup,

Like ABC, DEFG, HIJKL, oops,

I've realized the secret code: If what you're writing matters,

Then put more letters in your words and less words into your letters...
