Dear All

This is a very good question, the word "work" has also not been well
defined either.

Consider the following: Qouted from Elliot Jaques

That was tough work doing the work they gave at work today!

The word work has at least three diffrent meanings in that sentance.

There are many answers to the above question depending on ones level of
ability to abstract. The differing points of view offer different
answers. eg from the reductionist or systems point of view.

Maybe we can re phrase the question: Why are people motivated to work?

Kindest
Gavin
