Dear fellow learners
I am a student at the University of Oslo in Norway,Faculty of educational
research (I am a Norwegian). I am about to start on the research part on
my masters in Pedagogics (Education) and find the subject of Learning
organization very interesting.
As a strategy for continuos preparedness for change, I think the principle
of the learning organization is ideal .
I want to write about how organizations can prepare themselves for
changes. According to Peter Senge it is by becoming a Learning
Organization (which can be seen as a change in it self).
My problem however is finding a relevant angel for a critical approach to
the topic, an angel that through empirical research can accumulate useful
data and therefor be of use in learning about and improving the field of
the practical.
[Host's Note: angel? Mette, do you mean angle, as in "point of view"? Or
an angel who can provide you the data? And, welcome to our discussion
here! ..Rick]
Since You have working experience with the principals of the Learning
Organization and probably have felt what kind of challenges it can give, I
was hoping You could be of help to me.
Sincerely
Mette sømme
