Replying to LO26924 --
Gerrit,
Thanks for your note about the presentation on "Breakaway..." at the
recent eExposition. The information reminds me a great deal of the work of
Stephen Rosenthal and Ken Hatten (Pergammon's "Long Range Planning", Vol.
32, No. 3, pp. 293 to 310, 1999) and elaborated in the Enterprise Model by
various groups.
Because I use the Enterprise Model to facilitate workshops in Creating
Business Alignment and Integrated Management Systems, where participants
use their own work opportunities and problems to feed the model and learn,
I see some links between speed and ability, and the process capabilities
and functional competencies assigned through the Enterprise Model.
Very interesting reading you've told us about. Thanks you, Gerrit.
Best regards,
Barry Mallis
