Replying to LO27462 --
I have read so many a poems. I write a few myself (1 published and 2 to be
published books).. but one that catches me... makes me weep, gives me
hope, fills me the spirit of true love that ihave believed so dearly in,
one that feels like the dew on a flower, a prick from a needle ever so
harsh... all in one... is this...
titled: Lost Joy (ironical as my name is Joy)
I had a daily bliss
I half indifferent viewed,
Till sudden I perceived it stir, -
it grew as I pursued,
Till when, around a crag,
it wasted from my sight,
Enlarged beyond my utmost scope,
I learned its sweetness right.
by - Emily Dickinson. If we could but believe in rebirth, then i surely
would say my spirit is tied to hers in some very special a way!
