Dear LO-learners,

First I want to apologize for being out of touch for some while.
Especially as I have not even yet finished my (never ending) series on
"Los and Metanoia" - four posts are still missing... I also want to thank
those of you that wrote me in private, asking what was happening.

I had some personal problems and after that my work was a mess and needing
full concentration. I had not even time to read the posts to the list
during some time. Now, things are being more under control (but not
certified control, of course) and I began to read some of the messages
again. But my series will have to wait more one or two months, I am
afraid. That is good for you, I think, due to the average dimension of
each post ;-)

My last message of that series was about Alberoni's perspectives on
metanoia ( LO27351 - http://www.learning-org.com/01.10/0025.html ), and it
relates to At's comments to the post of our Basque new friend (indeed I
was not sure if the "x" was coming from the Basque region or from
Galicia...)

I also think, dear At, that a metanoia can not be certified - even if it
can be recognized when it happens. But that is not the main problem. The
main question, in my perspective, is that if a company gets ISO certified,
the metanoiac conditions are probably destroyed by that single fact...

We all know that companies have rules - but frequently the work gets done
and innovative products and procedures appear in spite of those rules,
because imaginative people discover ways of not following the rules. If
the rules are enforced, which normally happens in the certification
process, innovation and learning will probably suffer...

Regards

Artur

PS: I have some recent posts highlighted to comment when I have a little
more free time...
