The conversation on this list between Winfred Dressler and Chau Ngayen has
an interesting query. What is goodness? Unless it is defined, it is
meaningless, even a criminal may be good. etc.
This conversation was on while I was reading a book, Bandit Queen - a
story of a famous dacoit, Phoolan Devi written by Mala Sen. She is being
nominated for the nobel price. After reading the book, I realise the
damage the society can do to an Individual. Goodness is also a function of
the society we live in. Her contribution was to get the authorities
attention. By telling her story, we can only realise what we have made of
her.
Her acts of dacoitry, murders were what? NOt good! An Intervention? I am
confused.
The point is, I think a personal mission statement should attempt to state
ones orientation.
The server will be down in a minute. So no editing Sorry
