Last night when we were chatting over dinner with my friend he narrated an
interesting incident. Let me share that with you all:
He said " Once when I found the fridge door open with the chiller tray
drawn outwards I called my wife and asked her to keep the door open so
that the cat that visits our home regularly does not drink the milk kept
in the chiller tray. She said " I didn't do that the cat must have opend
the fridge, drawn the chiller tray and drunk the milk"
My friend continued " Now that she is not here (gone to her parents'
place). Yesterday I kept the unused milk in the fridge and went to sleep.
When I woke up in the mid night for quenching my thirst I found the fridge
open with the chiller tray drawn out. I couldn't believe it for some time
and later I told myself `padma you are write' ".
When I set aside the thoughts of interpreting this learning with the help
of Learning principles that I learnt in my psychology course, I realised
that the urge that this cat had to drink the milk is beyond the meaning of
the word 'urge' and hence was able to optimise the use of its motor
skills. This ablity speaks about the power of God's creation. If any one
out there could take some time and shed more light on this, I would be
grateful for that.
Peace to all
