Hello all,

as promised, here is the results of the MBTI survey. with less than 5% of
the total list subscribers participating, I believe that it's
inconclusive. however, it's interesting to see the trend just the same.

I've provided the raw data below. The norms I've provided came from
Keirsey and Bates' "Please Understand Me." As many of you, who
participated, anticipated, the bias towards NT and NF temperaments was
quite outside of the norm for the total population.

My hypotheses is that a group of people who comprise about a quarter of
the population are involved in attempting to influence a group of people
who comprise three-quarters of the population to see a new world-view, of
which Learning Organizations is just a part. This LO list serves as a
spiritual and intellectual well for those of you who seek to influence
that change within your communities and organizations with people who
frequently seem skeptical, uncaring (for your ideas and change in
general), and certainly seem less than receptive to ideas or concepts that
seem so clear to you. Now I might be projecting here, but I'm guessing
that the data above represents the subscribers to this list more
accurately than I can conclude statistically. Maybe it would be
worthwhile to survey again in a couple of years. If change is occurring,
a few more of our SP and SJ friends (like the 7 who responded this time)
will respond.

Thanks again for your participation. Hopefully, you'll at least find this
entertaining--even thought-provoking, even though it may be inconclusive
otherwise.

regards,

Doc
