Replying to LO14483 --

I sent my question: *What kind of leader would give up the power implicit
in a reward structure?* to Alfie Kohn.

His response:

Answer #1: A leader who is more democratic than autocratic, one more
concerned about the long-term well-being of the organization than with his
or her relative authority.

Answer #2: A leader who is pressured to do so by the collective action of
employees.
