In responding to Neil Kelly <nkelly@mailbox.uq.edu.au> who said, in part:
>In my six years as a curriculum/instructional designer and curriculum
>manager for the Queensland (Australian) State Government, I saw many
>"programs," or management fads come and go...I hear the latest management
>fad in the State bureaucracy here is called, wait for it.... "the learning
>organisation." - fair is foul, and foul is fair"
I'm reminded of the Hurricane Paradigm and the behavior of many people:
"This, too, shall blow over."
In most Learning Organizations, many of the people learn that if they keep
their head down and their chin up, they can wait these programs out and
maintain a high level of safety.
The key is to not be fooled by the Eye of the Storm and look up too
quickly.
And remember,
"In an Avalance, each snowflake will claim its innocence,"
