I, too, have been following this trail for much of my life--with frequent
and long detours. It seems we are arriving at a point in our history when
many, seemingly diverse and varied, disciplines are converging. This
integration of spirituality, learning, sciences, work, ecology and life
seems to sing to the intuitive soul.
I ran across this site the other day, while mulling over your postings on
this thread. You might find it interesting to compare the article (it's
called "beginnings and endings: the Buddhist mythos of the arising and
passing away of the world) with some of the things we've been discussing
