What about the rest of the company? Are they aware that the CEO is
attempting a 'cultural shift'? They must be on board if this project
is to be a success. What if (and I shudder to think) the first level
management and non-management do in fact have a mill mentality? I have
had to deal with several individuals in my group that seem to have an
almost innate distrust of management. This is a very hard trait to
correct and takes a great leap of faith on the part of the employee.
The employees have to want to change and the management (CEO) must
have to courage to lead them.
