Hi Anabela,

I was in a hurry when i said send the mail it. Please, excuse me for
typing your name wrong(ly ?). I would like to add:

By the way, these leadershipstyles are based on Jungian typology (see
MBTI-literature, amongst others) and the work of Will McWhiney (Creating
paths of change).

See also Max DePree's 'Leadership is an art', in which he tells how a
leader might kindle the different styles by allowing what he calls "roving
leadership" whitin an environment that allows diversity, change, social
interaction, contributions and rewards. The nicest thing he decribes, and
i use it often, of the tasks of any leader (any type of leader) is to say
"thank you". He also refers to Robert Greenleaf's 'servant leadership'.

I also would like to add the book 'Four Spiritualities' by Peter Tufts
Richardson, which i'm currently reading. I had a need to know how these
psychological types, styles, characteristics might lead to different
developments in/of people (different expressions of self or spirit he
calls it)and he clearly outlines how the paths we have to/choose
to/must/will take are different. Yet there are only four main types, and
these types are complementary. So somewhere in between (because it is no
end in itself, i suspect), to resolve the fundamental issues like Human
Rights, Freedom, Economies and Environment, and Learning Organization (has
somebody already claimed Actively Evolving Intergrated Organisations
Unanimously ,-)) we, all togehter now, will have to know, integrate,
accept, respect all leadership styles in order to develop, grow, evolve as
humanity (is that still English?).

I'll stop here. Thank you for your contribution,

Jan Lelie
