Hi Aanabela
Leadership has many forms, from authoritarian to integrative, from
charisamtic to expert. A leader might be entrepreneurial or consultative,
task-oriented, facilitative, participative or prophetic. These different
kinds of leadership are rooted in our personal, different mental
build-ups, psyches, characters, systems, or what you'd call them. So
everybody, in my view, is born a leader and has to develop his or hers
special talents and find an environment, culture, team, organization in
which to express him/herself.
A chief, i would say, is a task-oriented leader, as in somebody
responsible for getting a newspaper out.
Kind regards
Jan Lelie
