Replying to SSrinivans introduction with following questions:
* What are the training requirements for a learning organization?
XLRI Jamshedpur has the following topics listed in their workshop:
Knowledge andlearning as strategic assets; Diagnosing learning
capabilities; Identifying organisational learning capabilities;
Organisational learning:tools and techniques; Architecture of a learning
org; Hope this helps.
If you can list your own learning needs from such programmes, it would be
of help to academics on this list!
* Can we build an evolutionary model which describes change
occuring in an organization? Can we use this to build an
evolutionary solution which can address change?
The example you had mentioned is logically right. This approach was tried
in an organisational change attempt. But, I think this can only facilitate
change if the top management has decided to go with the change project.
On the other hand, I cannot concieve of a LO if its incumbents do not have
skills in managing change(again a conceptual idea with no empherical data
to prove this statement).
