Before we continue talking about why we create organizations, I'd like to
know how we *define* organizations. Is an organization defined by people
working together for a common goal? Is it defined by synergy? How many
people, two? Does size matter? Can people be part of an organization if
they are not working toward the same goals as everyone else? Or if a
person does not recognize the goals they are working toward are those of
an "organization" are they part of that organization? Are suppliers and
distributers part of one organization? Is a conglomerate one organization
or many? Does it make sense to talk about an organization of
organizations? And finally, what is *not* an organization?

Thanks,
-mk

ps. I'm new to participating on the list. Greetings all.
