LO vs. Horizontal Org LO16090

Hello. I'm trying to find out some information for a management course,
specifically looking at the similarities & the differences between a
horizantal & a learning organization. What are they and what environmental
& organizational circumstances would make it more conducive for these
organizations to be successful? Also, can horizantal and/or learning
organizations also have strong, coherent strategic plans? What
characteristics of these organizations may enhance an organization-wide
strategic focus? What characteristics may detract from the focus?

Any help with these questions with examples would be much appreciated by
all in our research group.
