In Japan I learned a saying: "Outstanding nails have to be knocked in".

Just note your initial emotions when reading this and take some time (an
evening with some friends) to enjoy the many, many facets arising when
thinking about the strengths and limits of this saying in conjunction with
100x performers in a social system.
