Back in 1995 in the May issue of Training and development magazine there was
an excellent activity descibed by Jill Janov in an article CREATIVE MEANING:
The Heart of Learning Communities.

He talks about "people generating their own information, relationships,
shifting referneces from me to us, etc. If you are interested let me know
with a direct e-mail and we'll get you that information.

another great source for dealing with silos is J Patrick Dolan's work. Using
his concept of a 'boundary map' and having small groups work on the 'maps' and
then sharing them with the larger group.
