Okay, I confess--I have been lurking for two years without commenting nor
introducing myself. And now that I am speaking--it is in the form of a
request of the list. How tacky!

Intro first: I am Phyllis Van, an OD kind of person at Rockwell Collins
in Cedar Rapids Iowa. We have been involved in a major transformational
change since 1992 and I absolutely love it. My work takes me all over the
organization; but I have a primary focus in Operations. We have had Rick
Karesh in several times to work with us on Systems Thinking and for those
of you who have not had an opportunity to see Rick in action--you are
missing a lot!

Now for the request: I am looking for an article/publication/book by
Edward Lawther (Lauther?) the Third entitled "Substitutes for
Hierarchy--Flattening the Organization". I have searched all over the
place and am getting nowhere. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
