Entropy and related stuff LO17304

I have tried to follow the ideas about entropy and entropy production etc.
and have so far been unable kernalize the ideas. It seems like there may
be something in this that I should understand and be able to use but so
far I'm struggling to turn the ideas which I poorly understand into
something pragmatic. It all seems so esoteric. Would anyone who is
knowledgeable in this area have time to put the ideas into a short story
or illustration that will help me? Am I the only one who is on the
intellectual sideline here?
