Dear Doc,
good to hear from you! I am fully in line with your suggestions -
especially the necessity to practice skills in order to master them. And
your 3 elements necessary to spend time on a given task also fit very well
to my project with At on this list. It is the "and eliminating
distractions"-issue, where I have to assume that there may be a conflict
between my priorities and those of the organisation I work for.
Let me offer my case for a case study on this list: What should I do in
different kinds of real organisations? How would this conflict be resolved
in an ideal learning organisation?

I don't know whether I should agree. What is the difference of managing my
time and managing myself? I wasn't asking to manage the time of other
people (like the teachers you mention) but to manage my own time. Every
doing is a doing in time and don't I manage my time by managing my doing?
