New Innovation consultancy model LO17694

Dear Org Learners

In a recent post I mentioned that I would soon be flying solo. A potential
opportunity has now unexpectedly arisen to co-create exciting new venture.
This is to establish a consultancy organisation (initially UK based)
focussed on innovation with the aim of going beyond the typical
brand/business/new product development and marketing consultancy model.

I must present my thoughts on the opportunity for a new style innovation
consultancy by 14th April. Whilst I have my own thoughts on the subject,
and at the risk of being cheeky :) I would be interested in any comments
from a learning organisation viewpoint on:

Potential gap(s) in the market for innovation consultancy
The products and service such an organisation should offer
What the needs of clients are likely to be (+ what level of organisation
and type of Co.)
What service, product, process, benefits, dimensions could be used to
differentiate the organisation
Any other thoughts of relevance in designing such an organisation

It goes without saying that the organisation would be leading edge and
walk its own talk in terms of culture and mission!

Before this latest opportunity arose I had defined my own vision as to
incorporate the thinking, tools and techniques from the fields of Learning
organisations, knowledge management, quality, systems thinking, process
thinking to create a more fundamental model and framework for
marketing/brand management into the 21st Century.

The values it would embody are Curiosity, Continuous learning, Process,
Creativity, Planning, Collaboration

I look forward to any suggestion and input to help me realise this
opportunity, ideally before 14th.

Kind regards

Martin Silcock
