As a Buddhist, I've worked for many years to develop a gut-level
understanding of interconnectedness. However, I cannot follow your leap
to the fact that competition is inherently harmful. I know there are
situations where competitors have resorted to misrepresentation, theft,
slander and other inefficient acts to get business. However, that seems
to me to be more an issue of personal greed than a competition-oriented
economic system. Not everyone in competitive business is motivated by
greed.
What's your alternative to competition?
