Greetings
Roxanne you have a real talent for expressing a human and humane side of
us all. Wasn't it Woody Allen who said, "I can go a whole month without
sex, but I can't go a day without a good rationalization." There isn't a
tougher job in adult development than getting to know and accept yourself
(both dark and light sides) and then deciding to improve in areas that are
significant. As adults develop they face themselves in what they do and,
if fortunate, in why they are doing it. The reason I said 'if fortunate'
is that the incredible pace that business is travelling typically
discourages adults from slowing down and examining their values and
whether their actions truly reflect these values. I know I'm guilty of
talking before thinking, acting before planning and working before having
a mision. But, I also know I'm not alone.
