Several of my clients have done this - not because of any internal
interest but because they needed to to meet European requirements so as to
retain their sales into those markets. Some did programs that actually
seemed helped the company while others did large paperwork exercises. No
idea how this will play out over the long term but suspect it often will
not actually improve operations or quality.
Will be interested to see other perspectives.
