I have read with interest some the comments on this thread. My only
problem is that I am, for the longest time, felt that the first real step
toward wisdom (or learning) is when one first recognizes one's own
ignorance.
I read the one comment speaking of Socrates.
I wonder how the thought I suggested above fits it with what everyone else
has commented. Shouldn't we all, always, strive to maintain a level two
perspective on life and work, i.e., conscious incompetence?
