Paul Rousseau asks:
>Help me understand how I can deal _directly_ with reality.
Mindfulness. Whatever it takes to get out of your own "stuff." I prefer
the Taoist path as outlined in the Tao Te Ching (Stephen Mitchell
translation), and the Buddhist path as interpreted by Jack Kornfield and
Jon Kabat-Zinn, but I'm not dogmatic about it. Marcus Aurelius had a lot
to say about the same thing, in his popularly titled "Meditations." Names
and titles don't matter, as long as you remember that having a point of
view is the best indication that the only reality you're seeing is your
own.
I hope this helps.
