Let me try to check, whether I understand the meaning of free energy in
spontaneity:

Happenings that occur due to a transformation of free energy (alway part
of the inner energy, that part that is not bound to structure) is
spontaneous - independent from the outer influence, that may have
triggered such transformation.

While writing this, two questions emerge spontaneously within me:

Into what does the free energy transform? Depending on temperature into a
more or less amount of newly produced entropy, thus adding to chaos of
becoming of order of being?

What about the previously necessary built up of that free energy? Is this
always non-spontaneous? At least, such built up is important prior to any
kind of transformation, isn't it?
