Replying to LO20569 --

"Ignorance is an antonym for learning."

Sometimes I find that a particular phrase will stand out from everything
else being communicated because of some experience or discovery that is
personal to me. This phrase is one of them.

Stan's comment caused me to reflect on a similar "shocking" statement I
heard years ago when a consultant I was working with (I the very junior
partner) finally lost pateince with a client who could not/would not see
the importance and value of including a training stream in a new project
involving white collar workers. "OK, if you won't train then, then try
ignorance".
