Dear organlearners,

I wanted to call your attention to the full text of the first three
chapters of my book, which I have written with tremendous help from this
list and many people on it.

The book is called _The New Pioneers: The Men and Women Who Are
Transforming the Workplace and Marketplace_ (Simon & Schuster).

If all goes as planned, the Wall Street Journal Interactive Edition will
carry the book's introduction ("The age of Adaptation") and first two
chapters ("Being in Business" and "Everyone a Middleman") beginning early
Friday, Feb. 26. To my delight the WSJ has agreed to post the material
outside of its subscription firewalls, making the text free to all.

The link will be available at http://wsj.com.

I also invite you to join in a live discussion of a shorter book excerpt
to appear in the WSJ print edition. You can join the chat at 1 p.m. EDT
Friday. Again, you'll find the link at http://wsj.com.

Many thanks to the list and to our host for the many ways in which you have
shaped the book.

cheers,
tom
