Replying to LO21022 --

[Empowerment] What does this mean? I think it indicates power over someone
else.

For me, empowerment is, quite simply, any process by which individuals
gain mastery or control over their own lives as well an increased ability
to play an assertive role in controlling resources and decisions in their
own context.
