Toyota has been a learning organization for over 40 years. Harley Davidson
Milwaukee Electric Tool and West Bend Appliances, Motorola all qualify as
learning organizations.

The were learning form their process results antimergiand mprovingng at
rate of 1 to 1 1/4 % per month form many years. few have records like that
with demonstrated improvement sustained for long periods of time.

If a company values anything more than its' customer, it will lose the
customer.
The irony of that, if it is profitability, market share, security, teams,
learning or philanthropy that it values more it will lose the opportunity
for these too.
