Dear Meneer de Lange

Language itself is an obfuscation because it belongs to the auditory
Representational system of the mind. It has upper limits due to the
language itself plus the syntax of language is so structured that it
limits our ability to see complex things. Because English has the subject
verb object structure which is in itself a cause effect type relationship.
We all live in what professor Wendall Johnson calls "verbal cocoons". He
is one of the founders of the Linguistic Society of America. You also
mention one of Aristotle's Law's below, these laws have shaped our
societies and yet they actually make no sense. But it is what we call
common sense. We are all bound by the people who have lived before us and
used the language. In Linguistics it is called "Time binding". However our
other Representational System-Visual has no upper limits and no boundaries
and can be used effectively to create the future. But there is a problem
here too, discussed below. Our visual system is dictated to by our
sub-conscious drives.

Further the comment we can only create with the present is a very
interesting one. Is not entirely correct although there could be many
heated discussions around this. We are all driven by our motivations,
there could be a relationship between your 7 essentialities here. If one
combines the Content & Process Theories of Motivation we are left with a
simple formula that drives society forward. That we are motivated by the
tensions between compulsions (fears & losses) and our Expectations &
desires or longings. I have tested this with over 500 people and found it
astonishingly simple to test. These motivations come from what we value
most there are 7 mental-emotional areas ( a coincidence?). Time plays an
incredibly important role here. As we are stuck in some of our fears from
the past. each person suck at different mental times. So actually when we
communicate we all are at different mental times making communication very
difficult. Called Kairos from the Greek intention Time or goals-coined
from Professor Kermode. Hence defensive or aggressive behaviour. Too much
to discuss here. So it could mean that the fear of our past dictates our
future-you might remember from South African history "Die Swart gevaar".
This is a classical fear that is is mentally imprinted and on the other
hand a utopian Future is offered. The Apartheid State. You might relate to
this as you and I were there. Also too much to discuss here. Motivation
(power) works as a dipolar thing. The past creating the future and the
future the future, the past creating the present and so forth. See Elliot
Jaques the Form of Time. Our fears and aspirations driving us forward so
much for "evolution" or "revolution". Fear is a great "time binder" and
so are aspirations. But here is the glitch, we have different needs/values
but underlying their opposites, our fear, is an easy thing to control. The
threat of death or perception that death is close. The Value/Motivations
need /deprivation/ fear/loss theory is a bit long to discuss here. This is
also why Aristole noticed that people talk and behave as if life was
reduced to three fundematal laws.

I am aware that this might be a little off track but actually we are all
saying similar things in slightly different contexts.

Kindest
