Arthur's story reminds me of my first encounter with a "boids" program. I
was so captivated by the orderly flight of my little computer blips that I
just had to share the discovery with my two teenage sons. They, on the
other hand, watched the goings on for about thirty seconds and told me,
almost in unison, "so what Dad, these "boids" only have to worry about
three things".
I wonder how the "boids" would progress if, in addition to each other, they
also had to avoid income taxes, alimony, overdue bills, and career limiting
speeches at the annual office party.
