LO members have asked us to keep them informed about Networking For
Knowledge (NFK) which started in the Boston area, Oct. 1996, as a result
of an LO discussion on theories of knowledge creation and innovation. As
promised, the new Networking for Knowledge Topic (submitted by Professor
Carol Ann Zulauf, Organizational Development, Suffolk University, MA) is:

Staying Ahead of the Competition: Finding and Creating Critical
Opportunities
People and organizations are constantly looking for opportunities to
stay ahead of the competition. Please share:
· Great opportunities that have you encountered.
· Ways to find these opportunities that you have experienced, created,
witnessed, or might suggest.
· Tangible outcomes that have resulted from these opportunities (i.e.
financial, promotional, reward, recognition, etc.).

We welcome your input. Authors of all comments selected for publication
will be given full credit. Please email your response to the new NFK
topic, your full name, title/position as you would like it to appear in
print, and your contact information to cs@carolsager.com.

For those who are not familiar with NFK, please visit
www.carolsager.com
(We are getting 2600+ hits a month!). We have included more background
on NFK and the results of a previous NFK Topic.
