Graphic tools are one of the best ways ever of accommodating non-linear
thinkers in organizations. In fact, the World Wide Web itself is a
natural for associative thinkers.
There's a nifty little application program called "Inspiration," for both
PC and Mac platforms, which is GREAT for visualizing in a non-linear way.
(There are four separate instances of its use on our website). It started
as a biz application and was re-oriented for use in schools, but it's
still great for organizations. You might also want to do a search on "mind
mapping" and see what you get.
[Host's Note: I highly recommend "Inspiration."

There's also a new, very serious, web-based method for using non-linear
thinking (and virtual meetings) to do OD work via the web. This is called
OrganizationWeb, is produced by TeamSynergy, and can be reached through
our website. It's still in development, but is very promising.
Hope these sources help.
