Greetings Chris,
Fellow learners may observe from your email address that you are also from
South Africa. Since you and others live close to me, you may borrow them
freely.
As for me, I intend to prepare a "learning condensate" of each book
received for the benefit of our LO-dialogue. I would love to explore them
once again because in the early eighties when I studied them my own mind
was still much at the edge of chaos on thigs happening at the edge of
chaos ;-) Emergent phenomena became my preoccupation for many hours every
day. Perhaps I studied Polany in terms of what he wrote "potentially"
rather than "actually". I will try to avoid such an error in the "learning
condensate". Then I will donate these books to our library explaining in a
frontispiece the history of their donation.
I also promised a "learning condensate" on Prigogine's "From Being to
Becoming" and will get working on it during the holidays.
With care and best wishes
[Host's Note: Thank you, At. These will be a very nice Christmas present
for the LO list! ..Rick]
