forgiveness flows forth from a human centered compassion."
Jesus set a tremendously challenging and powerful standard for forgiveness
in the prayer he taught -- "forgive us our sins in the same measure as we
forgive those who sin against us." I have found it to be a difficult and
helpful daily discipline.
