Malcolm:

I cannot site any particular source for Motorola's learning strategy, but
suggest you search Harvard Business Review, NY Times, and the Net for
"Motorola University." This continuing education campus is extremely well
known for setting the standard of a learning organization.

Other reasonable research would include GE and MCI.
