The best answer I can give you is to somehow get them networked with
others at their level who have seen the light. That's the only thing I
know of that works.
At the 1995 Quest for Excellence Conference, I asked the CEO of Wainwright
Industries what led him to the realization that he was the reason for
previously stalled initiatives. He said when he realized that all of the
things that didn't work were aimed at changing everyone below the
executive level, he recognized that the executives needed to walk the
talk.
If your top management spoke with people like Don Wainwright, that would
be a good start.
