Is it important that the personalization of the Why be positive? It seems
that management all too often posits the Why as positive = my way of doing
things and negative = what you want.

Know what I mean?

Alternatively, are you saying that the discussion must focus around
explaining how the positives outweigh the negatives for all concerned,
including the person having to change? How important is reassurance in
this process?
