I became fascinated by the FAMILY as a Learning Organization and have been
introducing my wife Barbara and my 5 year-old son Ian to "snowball" and
"seesaw" diagrams of our behaviors.
Once Ian understood the source of his temper tantrums and his leverage
point, his tantrums reduced in number and fury. (A shifting the burden
archetype)
Once Barbara and I understood our cycle of initiative, hurt, withdrawal,
and making up, our marriage became MUCH more even and happy. (limits to
growth archetype)
I'm interested to hear from anyone who diagrams the structures behind
events in the newspaper. Or anyone who has analyzed Montessori schooling
from a systems perspective.
If something fascinates you, it'll probably grip me as well.
